- computer-controlled cutting - my plan is to make the table as much as possible to be snap fit
- 3D scanning and printing - i would like the handles and snapfit components to be 3D Printed out of ABS as it is a robust material
- computer-controlled machining - the main structure will be made from MDF wood
- input devices - possibly measure speed of the strength of the ball or the power the user kicks the ball
- molding and casting - The soccer ball and little men would be made using a molding and casting method
- composites - i would like to make the soccer field out of a resin/composite as it looks good and can be finished to a smoothe feel
- output devices,networking and communications,interface and application programming - If a person scores a goal i would like the table to light up, make a sound and contribute information to a score screen

Every FabLab needs a foosball table, so I'm going to attemt to make one. My innitial plan is to possibly make it completely snapfit out of wood and perspex. I would like to electronically have two screens that show the score and time countdown. The scoring should be done via a sensor with sound when there is a point.
